2012 Here we come!

Well it's been a while, but what can I say.. working full time and being a Mommy is busy busy busy! I wouldn't trade it for the world! Chase is seriously my little sweetheart and just one look melts my heart! I'm sure all you Mom's out there can relate. We had a wonderful fall/Thanksgiving/Christmas! We are so blessed! We have a wonderful boy, amazing family, jobs, optimism and we are loving life.

Chase now has two teeth and they were hard work for all of us! this is about how happy he was for a couple weeks

at least he is a cute little cranky pants.

Halloween came and I (with my amazing birthday present) made us some pretty fun dinosaur costumes! The plan was to make Chase a cute costume that he could save and eventually play with, but when Christian saw my plan, a family of dinosaurs we soon became!

Unfortunately I have no pictures from thanksgiving but as always it was wonderful. A lot of food and a lot of family always makes for a good time. We got a new camera(black Friday), and I haven't quite figured it out yet... but as I took some pictures on Christmas day apparently it took little movie clips? I will need to figure this out because it made a pretty fun little video of our Christmas day :) maybe one day it will let me upload to show off.

We brought in the new year with some of our best friends (again :) ) playing games all night and trying not to fall asleep. We are very excited for 2012 and hope to get the most out of it! As always I hope to keep blogging again, but we'll see how that goes! For now, this will have to due.

Wow where to start! I know I haven't blogged in so long I really need to do better! since my last blog my little boy is growing up!! He is getting so big! Chase is 4 1/2 months old now!! He holds his head up all by himself, he smiles ( except when cameras are around of course lol ) and he is as curious as ever. :) We bought him a cute little bouncer and he likes that so far.. I wasn't going to blog until I got blessing day pics from my mom... but alas, the pictures are still not on my computer.. So I've caved. it was great, beatiful and maybe one day I will share the pictures on here. for now I will just say Chase is my little sweetheart, big smiles and talking our ear off I love this little guy!!

On another note, I'm still couponing and it is going great! We have food storage now and I buy things we eat. currently we spend a little less than we used to and I get probably 4 times more food, it is awesome!! I've also recently discovered the website pinterest, and I must say I'm in love! I've already made 3 things on my DIY board, be proud!!

Christian started school again this past week and he is going to do great! but honestly, I cannot wait until he is done that will be amazing!! well on that note I have to go, but I hope everyone has an amazing sunday!!

Our sweet little boy is here! After a surprise delivery Chase is doing great! He is 5 lbs 10 oz and 20 1/2 inches long. just a little guy, we love him so much and can't be more grateful he is a happy and healthy baby!!!!

We got our tree all finished! We got the bedding and crib set up and the nursery is pretty much done! I love it. Here is a picture...

wowee... only about 7 weeks left! I'm getting nervous and excited! I don't know what to expect, I hope I have everything I need and don't realize I am totally and completely unprepared. I guess thats what family is for!! Christian and I started on the tree on the nursery wall!! its been so fun, our friend Andy got us an old overhead from the school district which was perfect! Christian free handed (so impressive I know!) the tree onto the overhead based on a few pics we liked, and then we traced it onto the wall and painted our little hearts out one night!!

I've gone over it and touched it up, all we have left is the leaves, but so far I love it!! We still have a list a mile long but it grows shorter every week. :) I can now feel when he has the hiccups!! I love it! little tiny bounces a few seconds apart for a couple minutes, its sweet.

Seriously I can't wait to have the nursery all put together! It will be so cute! I want to think of some frame or something I can hang on the wall dealing with missionary or temple, I just can't decide what... any ideas??

and I have to say, the other day he was pushing VERY hard (I think he was trying to escape out my side!) so I pushed back a little since it wasn't all that comfortable.. and it was so weird because Im almost positive I felt his little head!!! ah!! I cant believe this is real.

..... crazy right?! 82 days and I will be a Mom!! ah! Can I just say I'm so excited. I still have a big list of things I want to get done, but I'm proud to say its getting shorter and shorter as every week passes!! It is funny because when Christian got home from work today he came over and hugged me so tight then pulled me away and looked at my belly... and you could see it in his face! He is so ready to be a Daddy!! he's funny saying how its so crazy but I know its going to be so amazing. :) so I'm 28 weeks pregnant and I have 82 days left. I need to choose crib bedding, I need to paint the nursery, I need to paint the crib, but I am so glad to say our new years goal of organizing our home and keeping it clean is going SO WELL. really, I am so proud of us haha. hopefully it's something we will make habit and always do.

Also, I need to say that for some reason I am getting so excited for valentines day! Not that we have plans or we're doing something new and exciting, but I just cant wait! weird? I think so.

I recently got a calling in our ward in the young womens, so if ANYBODY has ANY good activity ideas they are needed here!! especially any involving what beehives would love to do at spa night... since I'm in charge, its in three weeks.. and its for the whole stake!! wish me luck :)

Happy 2011!!!

On New years eve we had SO much fun! I stayed up sooo late.... past 10:30!!! even past midnight! I was proud of myself, we played wii and some other games with our closest friends :)

This is what I look like before we go to sleep.. we get in bed and read books. We got eachother some pretty good books for Christmas and we're both almost done reading all the new ones already.

We took this picture ^^ about 20 minutes ago, that is the extent of my belly growth thus far. 25 weeks :)

ANYWAYS, those are my blogging pictures. Our baby is getting so big! Do you want to know how I know?! I feel him kick in my hip and in my ribs at the same time!! yeah pretty much he is huge! And we can see my belly moving when he moves, it is actually really awesome. I've decided that I want to paint something on the nursery wall, like a tree or something. It's gonna be great, just you wait and see!!!

Oh yeah I forgot to say... we're having a boy!!! yay!! When we had the ultra sound, because of his position the doc's couldn't tell the sex, so of course, as I lay there on the table with my belly poking out and jelly ALL OVER the doctor was pushing and poking and dare I say jiggeling my belly! haha it was embarrassing(even though Christian says it shouldn't be, after all IM NOT FAT, IM PREGNANT... hahaha) anyways he finally decided to open up and let it be known, we are having a boy!!

Kicking Like Crazy

So first of all, I am 2 days away from saying I'm 22 weeks and you still can't really tell by looking, I mean sure, you can see maybe I've gained like 8 pounds but I dont look pregnant. I think at this point I would rather look more pregnant. It's coming though, Im sure I'll explode!! (promise when I do I will take pictures, but I'd rather remember looking pregnant than chubby.)

Just last month Christian and I celebrated 2 years together :) We went and saw Harry Potter, which we loved!! But I was still feeling sick so that is really all we did, which is fine, a night out with him is all I need to remind me why we got married.

It's really hard to explain how grateful I am for him. Ever since I started getting "morning" sickness he really took care of my every need. I work full time and he was going to school. So I would wake up and get "sick" then go to work where I got "sick" a few times more, then most nights come home and cry, lay on the bathroom floor while he gave me a pillow or blanket... or brought me a potato or some crackers. When I walked in he always gave me a hug and I would see the dishes done, the laundry done, the house clean and he was ready to do anything I needed. Seriously I survived because of him! I'm sure he felt my pain and did all he could to make me feel better.

I still feel kind of bad, because every weekend we stayed home, I couldn't (can't still sometimes) eat or smell any meat, it was THE WORST!! we ate potatoes and cereal and oatmeal for a few months. and he never complained! not one time!! I want to pay him back but I know there is no way I could show how grateful I am!! Honestly, he is the best for me :)

I am so grateful!!! I now almost never feel sick! It is so wonderful!!!! Honestly I am SO grateful for that. Tonight we are going to a work party for Christian and then the forgotten carols. I cannot say how excited I am!! A night out with Christian!! out to eat and then an amazing program I love!!!

Oh yeah I can't fail to mention, my title is obviously about our sweet baby! It is kicking like crazy!! I cannot wait until Wednesday, when I can say He or She is kicking! Christian has felt it and he LOVED it!! I cannot wait to have our baby!! It's going to be so amazing and Christian is going to be the best daddy I can tell!!

anyways, to sum up this post: I love Christian more each day, I am so grateful for him!! We can't wait for our date tonight to actually go out again!! AND Wednesday we find out what our baby is and we can really buckle down with the nursery/names and just plain can't wait to see our little one in our arms in April :) I am so blessed it's hard express. (especially without crying!!haha)

So I'm a bad blogger, but now I will show you how our summer ended and fall began....

We left Texas and said goodbye to Christian's family there and also goodbye to our tans...

When we got home we went to Bear Lake

Where we played on the beach..

Ran the Raspberry 5 k with my fam *note my awesome uncle dressed up as a raspberry..

had a blast... and wondered if I was pregnant haha!

When we got home from Bear Lake we went straight to Lake Powell with Christian's family..

Where we went cliff jumping, tubing, skiing and were thinking how it was now very likely that I was pregnant...

When we got home from vacationing I started my new job, which I love, and Christian started another semester at the U. Also We found out, obviously, for sure that I was pregnant. Then right on queue the morning sickness kicked in. I know the only reason I survived those three months of sickness and losing weight is because of this handsome stud..

Honestly, we had moved into our new basement apartment in sugar house which we LOVE and very conveniently has two bedrooms.. Christian moved us all in while I would lay on the bathroom floor. I would go to work all day and come home to a clean house, dishes done(keep in mind there is no dishwasher!) and a husband willing to get me a potato or toast every day for dinner for about 3 months!

I am pleased to say I no longer walk around feeling nauseous 100% of the time and I actually, as of this week.. have quite the appetite! I am writing this blog because I'm home sick from work its true, I have a WICKED cold that I can't seem to get over. So if anyone has advice on not catching everything possible while your pregnant it looks like I will be needing it! :) Also I can't fail to mention that Lindsay had her second baby!!!! Her name is Molly and I can't wait until I can see her...obviously I will wait until I wont make her sick. Lindsay is so strong and is doing great!

So anyways, I now consider myself all caught up and proud of it!! :) One day I will post a picture of my pregnant belly but I dont have one yet haha! OH YEAH also Leslie is pregnant and due the same week as me!! How awesome is that? I love having all the same things as her and we can talk about it all day and not bother anybody :)

Summer fun

A few friends got together early one morning and we all went to the temple before the boys went to work! We did sealings and had so much fun! I love being with Christian, its my favorite. :) and the Houston Temple is SO gorgeous.

This is us on the 4th of July!! We went to a barbecue with some of Christian's family out here and had a blast! Then we went back to the church parking lot and watched some fireworks, it was fun to spend the whole holiday with my handsome husband!

I know right!! We finally went to Wicked!! It definitely lived up and even surpassed our expectations! It really was so amazing and only made us want to go back again one day :)

This is me Jess, and Stacie we all went to the flea market out here and it was AWESOME I got Christian a really cool Mexico soccer jersey and some Mexican coke (try it apparently its the bomb diggity, if you like coke that is BLAH!) Anyways they had some pretty sweet hammocks there, and I'm pretty sure I'm obligated to buy one for our future home :)

Hurricane Alex!!

Out here in Houston people were getting worried, gathering water, making sure our gas tanks are full, just in case Hurricane Alex was to come get us! Luckily the Hurricane hit land further down by Mexico so we are safe. However, we do have a forecast of rain for a couple weeks.

Well, me and my friend Stacie went to Wal Mart to get our weekly groceries and it was POURING RAIN like nothing I've ever seen!!! There was literally a LAKE in the road/parking lot!!

So, being the AWESOME Utah visitors we are, we got out and played in it!! I mean really, how could we resist??!!

Beach Fun!!

Our whole office got together one morning this week and had a pool party! It was so fun and it really loosened up all the guys, pretty much we all loved it!

Also Christian and I made it to the beach!! FINALLY! It was so fun :) We went with some friends we've made out here and really had a blast jumping in all the waves, walking up and down the beach, eating and just having fun :) After, we went in to Galveston and ate at the yummiest little Mexican place that was the first restaurant there!! It was so fun we loved it!! :)

Fun with the Wives

First of all, we are kind of but seriously falling in love with Houston!

It's so big! Since Christian is literally working all day (he's such a hard worker!) I hang out with the other wives around here a lot. So far we've done some real fun stuff! We've been to the temple a few times which is GORGEOUS and I LOVE IT!!

We also all went to an aquarium right down town, and for half price! It was fun it had kind of a small amount of fish then some random white tigers and almost a mini amusement park outside!

We hang out and just do fun cheap stuff! The weather out here is amazing! Me and a few of the wives have made a habit of going to the pool a lot and I love it!!!

Happy Birthday Dear Christian!

So I am VERY happy to say we are actually in our apartment now and out of the hotel! We're loving our apartment and the complex, its really nice! We ended up getting a two bedroom too!! (in case anybodies interested in visiting!) This last week was Christian's 23 birthday! he finally caught up to me again :) For his birthday I decorated our apt!! We also went to buffalo wild wings which I'm ashamed to say we're both probably addicted to.. its just so good!! What can I say? We're wing people! Also he got a package from his family with a guitar video and new tabs and music for him! it was very exciting since we both brought our guitars out here in an effort to get better! We have actually been playing every day and it is fun to sit around and both of us play guitar together :)

I surprised Christian with wicked tickets!!! we missed it when they came to Utah and now that they're coming here I just couldn't pass it up! It's not until July but we're so excited for it!! Christian is doing really well out here and we're loving all the changes and fun we're having out here!! We are so glad we made the decision to come out!!! I will try to keep this updated better by using everybody else's internet haha!!

So yes, lake powell was COLD!! It was still really pretty and fun to ride around on the boat, and we helped out with Crit's uncles houseboat and slept on that. It was really fun to get to go out on the boat before we left!!

Before we left wed. tues night we went to a place called keys on main down town slc, it was so fun! I loved it and cant wait to go back! I requested Oh what a night and it was AMAZING!!

Then on Wed we headed out at 5 AM, for all of you who have seen either of us that early you know that took some work! we drove that night until about 12:45 AM to Oklahoma City and stayed with Mike and Ingrid! Im really bummed I didn't take any pictures! We had such a blast!! Hanging out with Mila and Henry who are so adorable and we don't see them enough, and Ingrid during the days! We went to the ZOO which I actually loved!! We also tried out Indian food and sushie while we were there! It was so fun staying with family and we're excited to drive back through that way :) !!!

We got to Houston after about an 8 hour drive from Mike's on Saturday night. Right now we're staying in an extended stay hotel until our apt is ready for us. It is really pretty here, very green and hot and humid! I already went to the pool once!! Our little hotel room is very small and its hard to decide what all to unpack, since we're packing it all up again i a week or so to move over to the apt. But we are right across the street from them so thats nice! I'm so excited to see what this summer will bring us!!

SUMMA TIME IS HERE

Ignoring the weather reports saying the forecast tomorrow is snow? ... definately.

So how can I ignore all this weather and proclaim the summer is here you ask?! First off.. in exactly one day I will be in gorgeous Lake Powell with my hunka hunka burning love, in the much needed sun! Upon coming home from this weekend getaway, we will take our finals and have one day to pack all of our needs for 4 months, and drive 26 hours to Houston Texas in all its hot, humid glory!

>We are indeed still alive and fully functioning, believe it or not... I'm just a lazy blogger. So far 2010 has flown by! I'm still in shock that February is almost over already!! In January we made some goals and we kept some goals. We went to the Marler Winter party and had a blast, as always! this year we tried skiing and loved every minute, including the 20 or so minutes we were stuck in powder trying to find Crit's other ski. :) Mike, Ingrid, Camila, and Henry came in town for a couple weeks and it was AMAZING to see them all again!! We just loooove our family and can't get enough of them. The Thomas girls went and got pedicures at a new place and now have plaid toes.. yes.... plaid! For those of you who don't know I am a big corn dog fan, and I have sealed my approval on frozen corn dogs from Costco..gasp... sounds so gross I know, but what can I say? Pass the mustard please. Also I decided that this year I want to run a marathon, with husband in tow of course! We're hoping to get all trained up for the Top of Utah marathon in September... stay tuned on that one. Also one of my favorite things EVER one of my very best friends Sister Emily Bertschinger returned from her mission!!!!!

It's so fun talking to her now and I can't wait until she comes out to Utah again!! Just today Christian and I went shooting with some of our friends and had a blast! I hadn't ever shot a gun before today!! Oh yeah...also I can't forget to mention.. my baby faced husband grew a mustache for mustache march, that we dyed.. haha it was really better than it sounds, if you can imagine :)

I can't believe I'm writing this post right now!! This week Christian and I have officially been married for one year! Does anybody know what I mean when I say part of me feels like we got married yesterday, and the other part is saying we've been married forever!?! Ü I love it. I am so grateful that I married my best friend, pretty sure he was made for me. Honestly, I can't even begin to list the reasons I married Christian, so let me write some things that I absolutely love about him that aren't so obvious.

At least once a week, Christian gets a bubble in his throat.. and talks with it... I love it so much, it makes me laugh so hard.

I often fall asleep on the couch and wake up the next morning in bed, I love it when he carries me to bed. Ü

He laughs at my jokes, even when I'm the only one who thinks they're funny.

He eats whatever I make for dinner no matter what is in it or what it looks like.

Sometimes he tries to make me laugh during the dinner prayer by saying little crazy things he is grateful for about me, like me peeking at him while he is praying.

Waking up to him checking my legs and telling me I had no bullet wounds, apparently in my sleep I was asking him to see if I was bleeding.

He always holds my hand and opens my doors.

In the car if I'm singing along to a song, he sings and dances with me even if he doesn't know the words. Ü

He bought me my dream engagement ring without even asking me (a heart diamond) even though pretty much everybody he told said not to do it. Then when I lost it (sniff sniff) he wasn't upset, mad or blaming it on me, he was just eager to get me a new one and make me feel better.

He is crazy ticklish

He went and saw the Hannah Montana movie with me in theatres, no complaints(for the most part)!!!

He loves seeing and making everyone (especially me) happy.

There is a hundredthousandmillion other little crazy things I love about Christian but we'll just leave it at that. I love you Christian, happy anniversary.

This weekend Christian went to California for work. Early Thursday we headed to the airport to drop him off. I was telling Critter how I was an excellent driver and would probably already have us at the airport by now... just teasing him about his grandpa driving(which hasn't ever happened before!) and so he smiles at me and speeds up...

I'm not lying when I say no more than two minutes later we were on the side of the road laughing at the irony. I've never had a speeding ticket, and here sits my husband....89 in a 65. thankfully the officer gave it to him for only 9 over, we had nothing to do but laugh :)

Our Halloween was very chill. We had a few close friends over and we all decided we had to dress up for it, after all, that's what halloween's all about! So about a month ago I decided I was going to sew our costumes so we could keep them forever, and then I decided we should be mummies, very Halloweenish, they didn't even take me that long and I'm loving how they turned out!! The day of, we watched the Halloween movie marathon on TV.. just two of them, but I've always loved that. :) We had quite a few trick-or-treaters which was very fun and we watched a scary movie and played charades!! We really only took pictures right at the begginning, but at least we got a few costume pics in! All in all, a very fun halloween!!

So it was my birthday earlier this month, and it was A-MAZING! truly it was!! I woke up to love notes all over my house!! Then, while I was at work, in waltzed Christian with roses!!!! What a sweetheart, I swear I don't deserve it. Later that night we went to market street grill for lobster and crab! It was DELISH!! We loved it and our server was awesome(don't you love when that happens?) After dinner Matt and Leslie came with us to nightmare on 13th street!! It is the

#1 Haunted House in America!

It was so scary and fun.. I have always been a huge fan of haunted houses, so really Christian suprised me with the perfect thing!! It was so amazing!! To top it all off, we signed on a new lease and are in a new and wonderful apartment!! pictures to come!!

I wish that I had a picture of how we walked through the haunted house. Since we were scared we were in a train of sorts(!) It was so funny waddeling along stepping on eachothers heals and screaming in eachothers ears.. that is, until Leslie kept yelling my name for going too fast so the scary people knew my name and Leslie somehow let go of me.. so the haunted undead could scream in my ear and come up around me! AH!!! HAHA LOVE IT :)

Lindsay Robbie MK Leslie Matt Jon Ty Me and Christian all have been planning our Ruth Lake trip for a while now! I've been once, and it is so gorgeous up there I couldn't wait to go again! Since Christian and I both had to work we hiked in when it was pitch black! I may have gotten a little nervous, but Christian kept me pre-occupied by talking about The Office, SUCH a funny show!! So Anyways, we used our tent and sleeping bags and backpacks for the first time!! We love them!!! In the morning I read about how to make muffins in orange peals in the fire, so we did that.. it was so yummy!!! then we went rock climbing, it was Christian and Jon's first time and they did so awesome!! all in all....

What is your current obsession? hmm, if you had asked me this a few weeks ago it would have definately been wave running, but now that I have to wait until next summer I need to move on from that so I would say... reading. Most of the time I can't stand reading more than one book at a time and lately I can't just read one!

What do you hate the most that everybody else seems to love? the movie Taken! Everybody loves it, I swear. But I hated it! I just left feeling so aweful, the action wasn't that cool and the whole story, I dont care if that really happens I dont want to sit and watch how it is impossible to stop it. I can't describe how much I hated it! Good thing I have an amazing husband who doesn't watch it because he knows how much I dislike it, its the only movie that has done that to me!

Bear Lake + Lake Powell = BEST VACATION EVER!

Just a few weeks ago I had one of the best vacations of my life!!! Christian and I took off work Friday and the whole next week for our fav summer vacations!! Firstly we went to Bear Lake for Raspberry days, for my family reunion. SO FUN. I love raspberry days, I LOOOOOVE Bear Lake and I love family reunions! We went up Thursday night and woke up early Friday to go golfing with my Dad and brother Jon. I will be the first to admit, I may not be the worlds best golfer... but that doesn't stop me from wearin a glove having my own set of clubs and going! Really I love it! It is real fun and relaxing. We decided to play teams, so I was with Christian. All morning he had the most amazing drives! He really had such an awesome day!! I on the other hand, was the expert putter!! It was so fun, and really the course up there is so gorgeous... looking at bear lake!! Later that day we went wave running for a while, which just might be my favorite thing in the universe. :) That night my whole family got into town and we all went to Pickleville Playhouse, we do this every year. This year we saw the Juanito Bandito melodrama and I have to say it was hands down the FUNNIEST and my favorite show Ive seen them put on! I loved it so much!! Not only was it clever and up to date.. but my brother Tyler even went up to the girls at the end and asked for a kiss on the cheek... which in itself proved to be pretty entertaining since there were about five cousins following in his footsteps hahaha. On Saturday a bunch of us went and did the Raspberry run! yay for 5k's! Then we went to the craft fair which I always love and then we went wave running again. Raspberry days is one of my favorite things ever, and I'm already super pumped for next year!!

Sunday night we came home from Bear Lake REALLY sore and wicked tired! We packed that night and the next morning went with Christian's whole family to Lake Powell! We met up and caravanned with his uncles family too! We stayed at a place called Halls Crossing(I think) in a trailer just a couple minutes from the lake. I hadn't ever been to Lake Powell before and let me tell you it is GORGEOUS. It isn't like any lake I've ever been to!! We went on a few hikes, one was kind of a hike, more of a climb. Its called Annie's Crack(I know I know) but it was SO cool! You climb up into this little crack, haha, and its just walls straight up and you can go to the other side climbing all over! It was really awesome! We also went to rainbow bridge... which I was VERY excited about! It is HUGE!! So awesome and I loved it! It was a long boat ride away.. on the way there these two planes flew right over the top of us! they were SO LOUD! I think Christian said the were B somethings(lol) but they were SO COOL. We also went crazy tubing of course.. and I even braved going double skiing with Christian! he is such a good coach :) Lake Powell was So awesome and now I can finally understand why Chrisitan is borderline obsessed with it!! and now its back to work and school...... sigh..... cant wait until next year!!

24th of July weekend

For the 24th of July we decided that we wanted to go to the Bee's game, mostly because they have an awesome firework show at the end that you can watch laying ON the field!! We went last year for the 24th and decided we couldn't let it pass us by this year! We ended up going with a group of friends and turns out the Bee's couldn't play! :( But we were okay with it considering we now get another set of Bee's tickets this year, preseason Jazz ticket, and then some carshow tickets(or something like that) The firework show was so awesome!!! We were some of the first people so we ran onto the field in front of everybody and got front row seats! We thought this would be the best, turns out...

The next morning we woke up super early to Andrew knocking on our door!! well, what I should say is, Christian woke up to Andrew knocking on our door.. I woke up to.. "Jenni!! Andrew is here! we're supposed to leave for paintballing RIGHT NOW!" in a very panicked voice...it may have been panicked because we forgot to set our alarm.. or his morning voice was still taking full force! :) hehe. Crit, me, Andrew and Jaron drove down to south salt lake and decided we'd all pick up some breakfast at Maverick while we waited to meet Leslie and Matt. I decided to get this breakfast sausage sandwich thing and Christian got me a strawberry milk. Well, long story short.. the breading on my "sandwich" was tough as nails and the sausage was dry and really hard to look at and smell, let alone taste!! We were all laughing at the nastiness of my sandwich when I got out my strawberry milk.. opened it... and saw that it was white? WHAT?! I was told to shake it.. like the pink could seperate lol... but I tried it to no avail. After a quick glance at the bottle I knew what today was bringing me. MMMM who doesn't love a big jug of half and half in the morning?! hahaha, it was crazy!! The pink wrapper totally fooled us. Anyways we went paintballing and really had a blast! In the end Leslie and I even killed a few very disgruntled (and really intense/serious) players! yay for us!!

So I LOVE JACKS MANNEQUIN. When I heard in February that they were coming in July.. Christian and I went the first morning they were selling tickets and bought some! Eventually after telling some friends, we had a huge group going!! It was SUCH a fun concert! Maybe it was 102 degrees, maybe the water cost 3.75 and maybe I actually tried to put on some makeup and have none of it show up again... but honestly.. BEST NIGHT EVER!! plus, I had Christian with me... how could I have expected anything else!!!

Harry Potter

I am an avid Harry Potter fan. For a few years now I've made it a tradition to go to the midnight premeire of Harry Potter movies. This week, however, Christian and I decided that we had work early in the morning and that was something we couldn't do. Yesterday was Emmas, Christian's sister, birthday. For her birthday her friends and family decided to go to the midnight showing! So it was at about eight o'clock last night that we decided that sleep was not worth missing the show!! The movie was so great!! I still love the books about onehundredmillionquadrillionthousand times more, but the movies are just getting better and better! I even jumped during one part! I can't wait to see it again, and even though I'm a little scared driving.. and bobbing my head up and down at work today.. it was totally worth it!! And don't even doubt for a minute that I proudly wore my Gryffindor shirt!!! (thank you Emily)

This 4th of July had to be one of my favorites! We decided a couple days before to show our city support and go to the West Jordan City Parade. All in all the parade was okay, the highlight being the man who spilled his otter pops only to be swarmed by at least 20 kids and even some adults to snag themself a free otter pop! During the parade Christian looked at me and said, hey Jenni... let's shave my head today! For those of you that dont know, I think there are few things more entertaining than shaving somebodies head! So after a few bad razors we finally found one that worked and started! The first clip we tried was not short enough.. or so we though, until we tried the 1/4 inch right across the top of Christian's head!! Its a little short but I think he looks great... and he will keep looking better in the weeks to come, when you cant see the white shine of his scalp. haha

After Christian's hair was cut we thought we would be daring and go swimming at our apartment for the first time! The pool only goes to 5 feet but we managed to have a real great time and decided we need to visit our little pool more often. Christian's family was throwing a barbecue for dinner and we played badmitten, a game that me and Christian as a team have never been beat! After the barbecue we went to see the Sandy city fireworks with my sister Leslie and her husband Matt. I LOVE FIREWORKS, they are possibly one of my favorite things ever. They were pretty good there and we really had such a wonderful day, hope your fourth was as awesome as ours!!

Christian finally caught up to me and turned 22 in May!! I was so excited!! I didn't know what to get him, and then he informed me that someone would sell him their new paintball gun so we did that!! I decided I still wanted to surprise him, so I bought some wedding cake pans and whipped together the most awesome birthday cake ever! Then we went to Texas Roadhouse, that place is so amazing! Pretty much our favorite place!

So there we are, teaching our CTR 7 class in church and Christian gets a text. It was his boss asking if Monday(today) morning he could fly to Mexico for the week and help launch the new system!!! SO AWESOME!!! It is really funny that Christian is going to Mexico this week, it is almost exactly one year from when he got home!! I might be a little lonely while he is gone this week, but he said he will get me a present and I'm sure he's loving every minute of it.. including the tacos which he promptly called me at the taco stand he went to today raving about them. I need to go with him!!! Third times the charm right? next time Christian! next time!!

Relay for Life!

Relay for Life was a few weeks ago and Leslie and I had so much fun! Christian was at scout camp so he couldn't come!

It has been a very rainy June as I'm sure everybody knows so it was really crazy up at This Is The Place Park!! At one point the lightning got so bad they even made us all go into buildings because the tents were kind of dangerous up on that hill! We walked and jogged around the track for so long and our team even had glow stick batons to pass to eachother.

Every other team up there had a tent.. we were VERY unprepared.. luckily I decided to bring a couple of tarps and we camped out under those for a while!

Each team raised money for the American Cancer Society and there was food and booths and bands and games to play all night, 100% of the proceeds went to American Cancer Society! It was a lot of fun being part of it and Leslie and I decided we might even make a team next year!! let me know if you would be intrested!!!

HAIR CUT

so I was REALLY REALLY BORED the other day and I was working and getting SO annoyed with my hair!! I only worked until 3 that day so I made an appointment and cut off 12 INCHES!! I didnt even tell Christian about it!! So then when I went to get him from work (he locked his keys in his car that day! haha) my hair was gone!!

Holi Festival of Colors!!

This Monday me and Christian remember one reason why we love ZRII (his work). Christian works in the call center there on the Spanish lines, and on Monday he got some of their Jazz season tickets again! They have tickets in the executive suite there! We didnt even know there was a suite like this! You have to dress up for it, and be over 21. They have a catered dinner for you that is payed with your tickets (so free!) and its soooo nice! We Love going to those Jazz games together and I hope one day he gets some courtside tickets! fingers crossed!!Saturday we went to the Holi Festival of Colors! It is so fun! The Krishna Temple in Spanish Fork has a Dance, Bonfire lighting, color throwing, and a mantra rock concert! It was so crazy fun!! me and Christian went with our friends Jaron, Lindsey and Nick and we met up with his sisters there too! Then later we saw Melanie and Sean! We got there right on time! The colored chalk and flour that everybody throws was all sold out, but a real nice boy gave christian a bag so we all had a hand full of flour!! Then we made our way into the middle of a HUGE HUGE HUGE crowd... way bigger than last years, and we got totally covered!!! it was so fun and crazy with their loud band and all the people and everything! I loved it so much and we can't wait to go again next year!!!!
then on the way home we saw this crazy pretty rainbowish thing in the sky! totally random but so pretty!

So I know this is kind of delayed but I didnt have the pictures, and pictures are a must for me to write a blog!! For our honeymoon my dad let us use his time share for free in Vegas!! It was so nice of him and such a huge room!! I loved it!! it had a full size kitchen and everything!!( way bigger than our kitchen now lol) We drove down together in our rodeo and listened to Harry Potter the whole way! The first day was the BYU Utah football game of which we were cheering for different teams.. of course!! Utah won unfortunately, but I still think Christian should have to sit and watch the previous two BYU Utah games with me.. its only fair right? ANYWAYS.. our condo didnt have the mountain channel surprise surprise so we had to go find a sports bar! Well Christians cousin had RAVED about this place called buffalo wild wings and we actually found one and watched the game there! It was really a good place. They probably have every flavor of buffalo wings, boneless and on the bones, invented and they were all very good and VERY spicey!! We even ended up going back for more wings before we left! We went around to all the casino's and they were so awesome!! We rode the roller coaster on new york new york which was so cool and then we got a coupon for a free hot dog!! The hot dogs made me laugh so hard I HAD to take a picture because the end of them was all pinched off and weird looking! They had these kiosk things that sold pretzel dogs.. SO GOOD. I want one now!! dangit haha!! We went to the water show at the Bellagio and it was so awesome!! I love it I think I could watch it every night and still just stare at it and love it!! We also went to Stratosphere which was SO AWESOME!! We rode on every ride!! it was soo high and they were all so scary I think every time I go to Vegas I have to ride those!! After the first two I started getting a little bit motion sick and was soo scared to go on the third.. but deep inside I think Im a competative person.. so if Christian could do it I had to do it! haha .. I know. pathetic!! After that we had to wait in the look out tower for about twenty minutes until I could handle the long elevator ride down.. since there was no stairs, yes I checked, and yes we would have taken them! haha We also went to this show called the Tournament of the Kings in the bottom of Excalibur and that was one of my favorite things!! everyone was assigned a country and we got our own cornish game hen and salad and a mug of root beer and watched real jousting and races! We had these cheers they taught us and the whole place was screaming and so into the show it made it real fun! It was soo awesome and I think whenever anybody goes to vegas especially with kids they should go to this!! We also went to the Venician, which was one of our favorite casino's! it was so nice and we even went on a gondola ride outside where our boat lady sang to us in Italian and it was so beautiful!! Christian found a rose and gave it to me.. lol what a sweetheart!! Inside there was a little "town" with shops and a river and it was so fun we went to all the stores window shopping and fell in love with everything at the blown glass store! We also went to the magician David Copperfield! He was amazing!! We were on the front row... literally touching the stage and he made a car appear out of nowhere! I loved it so much!! Christian even got to go on stage for one of his tricks where he verified everything was real! It was just so awesome!! At M&M world and I had no idea it was so many floors of the best peanut butter M&M's ever made so of course we had plenty of those for the first MONTH of our marriage! When Christian and I were going up to another floor on the escalator I felt something pulling at my jacket and then I realized as we were getting to the top, the escalator was eating my levi jacket!! I thought that only happened in the movies and I screamed and Christian was laughing and we pulled it out just in time and then I realized that dumb escalator ripped off a button! It was so crazy and everybody was watching!! Im still looking for a crazy cool button to replace it with. We also went to coca cola world which was so fun, and they had shirts that smelled like different drinks.. unfortunately those only came in little kid sizes. In the coke bottle is an outback steakhouse where we tried lobster for the first time! It was so delicious and that is what Christian wants for dinner every night now! Christian! the one who hates sea food!! I never would have guessed. Our honeymoon was so perfect and fun and I can't wait to go on another!!!

Marler Winter Party!!

Over Valentines day we went up to our cabin in bear lake for our Marler family winter party!!! it was so fun!! Leslie and Matt rode up with me and Christian and with four snowboards and a weekend worth of stuff,our car was jam packed!!!We had a lot of fun on the ride up and got there in time for dinner! After dinner there was this crazy idea going around that people could swallow a whole tablespoon of cinnamon. Whats the big deal right?? WRONG. CJ, Brad and Matt all tried it and all ended up in tears only seconds later after trying to swallow it! it was soooooo funny!! The next day we all go snowboarding or skiing or sledding, whichever one you choose to do really. Me and christian decided to go up to Beaver mountain and try out snowboarding!! Neither of us are great boarders but we still managed to have a lot of fun with everybody!! That night we played this crazy game of phase ten which I won in a three way tie!! yes!!! I love winning!! On Sunday we all went to church and came back and a few of us went sledding outside who didn't go the day before!! it was so fun!!! I think that this video is so funny!! I would jump on christian's back and we would fly down!! But in this video we almost hit Tyler! My favorite part is watching him run!!!

After we went sledding a we all had a finger food night! Everybody brought different finger foods to have for dinner. me and christian made some guacamole.. one of my favorites and we tied for first place with leslie and matt who had these crazy awesome bacon wrap thingies. While we ate finger foods we all sang karaoke songs that we had signed up for!! it was so fun! I have a million karaoke videos and they are all just so funny which you might notice because I'm laughing through all of them!!!! I love my family! We always have so much fun up there its perfect.

Isnt it so weird that there is so much to do and so little time to do it but yet I find time to do nothing? So nuts. first off.. married life is wonderful, but getting to that point was pretty much a crazy stressful nothing i expected month!! We got our invitations sent out just a few weeks before the wedding. I LOVED our invitations though. They were just what I wanted!
Then I had to get my wisdom teeth out just two weeks before the wedding, and I know it as totally my fault but holy cow I didnt realize what it would do! So I know a lot of girls who decide to lose weight before their wedding, the "LGN" diet (look good naked) but I didnt even have to do that because all I ate for about a week was mashed potatoes and jamba juice! I was very lucky to have such a great Mom who made me home made mashed potatoes about 20 times and a fiance who didnt mind going to jamba every day and getting me a protein booster haha.

The Day of our wedding we were so lucky and had so much of our family there!! It was so great having everybody come and show how much they supported us and sharing this day!!

The day outside was gorgeous we were very lucky!! especially with it being so late in November!! But even so it was cold, which is funny because in the pictures you can tell people are cold but you dont really know why because the day is just so pretty and nice!!

Yay!! I was so excited when I came to my Mom's house today and I found a package for me with all of our wedding picture negatives!! I love these!! This day really was so perfect!! Its really nuts because it flew by so fast and yet it just kept going on forever it seemed like!

We had fun taking pictures before the reception... which was at the woods on ninth and I loved it!! The line never ended until we were pooped and ready to eat our cake and go away on our VERY romantic(haha) honeymoon to VEGAS BABY!!!

Halloween!!!

For Halloween Christian's work had this big costume contest!! Whoever had the best costume got one hundred dollars!! So we had no choice but to find him the best costume possible!! Luckily he has some amazing neighbors with costumes from A-Z pretty much!!! Im sad to say he didn't get first place.. but he did get third out of hte whole company!! And his costume was GREAT!!

At first we thought he would make a pretty great terrorist.. or that kind of thing...

Then we saw this Giant turkey costume at his neighbors!! and really, it wasn't even a question of what he was going to be anymore!! Isnt it so great!!? I thought it was pretty awesome. Even though it might have tested Christian on his driving skills and not to mention trying not to lose all of his water weight in one day.. wearing that was definately worth third place!!

So, I decided since this is now Christian AND Jenni I would start the blogging all over, even getting a new blog address! I'm so excited to do this!! So Christian and I met in high school... he claims to have been in my same sophmore gym class, and in fact remembers the very specific lovesac pants I would wear.. and says he had a crush on me.. but I didnt know him then. We had choir together and started dating junior year! We always had a lot of fun and even got to go on choir tour and several school dances!! Then I moved away to utah state and we still dated. Then Christian left on his mission for Mexico and we wrote the whole time! he just got home this June and now here we are, 19 days away from being sealed forever! He got me the ring I ALWAYS wanted.. a heart diamond! it is so gorgeous I love it!! Im so excited to start my new life with my best friend! I know we will have fun and I just can't wait to start!!!
